Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated had its humble beginnings as the vision of nine college students on the campus of Howard University in 1908. Since then, the sorority has flourished into a globally-impactful organization of nearly 300,000 college-trained members, bound by the bonds of sisterhood and empowered by a commitment to servant-leadership that is both domestic and international in its scope.

Welcome to the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Orlando Chapter's webpage.

Greetings and welcome to the website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Delta Omicron Omega Chapter. We are also known as the Orlando Chapter in the Central Florida area. With our legacy of over 76 years of selfless community service, I am honored and eternally grateful to serve as the chapter president.

Our renowned sorority is an international service organization established in 1908 with 116 years of educational and enrichment services to the community.

Under the leadership of our International President Danette Anthony Reed's platform theme of “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood,” we are advancing the sorority's mission to be of “Service to All Mankind” through the following program initiatives:

·      Empowering Our Families

·      Build Our Economic Wealth

·      Enhance Our Environment

·      Advocate for Social Justice

·      Uplift Our Local Community

Through our unwavering and relentless services, we support the sorority's program initiatives by continuing to be a beacon of light in the Orlando area and surrounding communities.

We uplift and support the community through youth leadership development programs, economic and environmental services, health and wellness seminars, and senior engagements. We provide social justice education to the community and reduce childhood hunger through nutritional programs.

Our chapter’s charitable arm, the Petals of Hope Foundation, Inc. supports our programs and sponsors an annual luncheon for over 350 senior citizens. The foundation provides five scholarships annually to qualified high school students and collaborates with “Transport to Care” services for breast cancer patients.

Thank you for visiting our chapter's website. We will "Showcase Our Essence of Elegance in Service" on social media for impactful program events and activities. We invite you to visit our social media channels: Instagram @deltaomicronomegaaka & Facebook @ Delta Omicron Omega Chapter.
